India At Olympics 2024

In the year 1988, China won 28 Olympic Medals in total and their medal tally jumped to 54 in 1992. When China could see this jump, with such hardworking and smart people in India, why are we not able to?  Why are we struggling to hit the 2 figure mark?.

Many Congratulations to our athletes for their participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Never take things for granted, Anything could change anytime, Things could change even after winning are some lessons we continue to learn.

How would you rate the performance of our Indian Contingent in this Olympics? We understand it is no easy feat to win an Olympic Medal. However let us compare India’s performance with China over the years.

Data demonstrates that big changes have not happened in the last 10+ years with respect to Sports under our Modi Government in India.

We have a lot of money. However, having money is one thing and deploying the cash for good use is another. If you compare the progress India has made with digital technologies or digital payments with  Sports,  we have been struggling in this area and our performance is poor.

As we know, we have to work on our Sports Infrastructure, get politics out of Sports and support not just winning athletes, however also those who are working hard and the aspiring ones.

Our marketing is great, however we also need to focus on execution. Bringing in honesty and transparency will go a long way and ensure we progress towards winning.
